Saskatchewan seeks feedback on Workers' Compensation Act review report

The Government of Saskatchewan is asking stakeholders to provide feedback on the Workers' Compensation Act Committee of Review report, which contains 57 recommendations for changes to the workers' compensation system in Saskatchewan. Consultations are currently taking place  and will end March 5, 2012.
"I appreciate the efforts of those individuals and organizations that participated in the Committee of Review's public hearing process and assisted the committee to develop their list of recommendations," labour relations and workplace safety minister Don Morgan said.

"The government believes that stakeholder feedback is an important component of determining how to proceed with the recommendations. To this end, the ministry is seeking input from all interested parties, including injured workers, employers, employees and the general public."

Stakeholders are encouraged to provide written input on all recommendations, especially those that require substantive changes to the Act or have significant implications for the Workers' Compensation Board, employees or the business community.
