Fall clearance app
When working at height, calculating fall clearance and swing fall is critical to a worker’s safety. Honeywell has launched the new Miller Fall Clearance App, for Apple or Android mobile devices. The app gives workers at height the on-site ability to quickly calculate the required fall clearance for shock absorbing lanyards and self-retracting lifelines (SRLs), including swing fall. The user can easily toggle back and forth from lanyard to SRL and has the ability to select from different variables, which represent the required fall clearance for both devices. The app is designed to demonstrate real-time fall clearance results with animation once each variable is selected. Once calculated, the user can re-calculate or email the results. The app includes multilingual support in English, Spanish and French with metric conversion and is optimized for use on smartphones and tablets. It is available on Google Play or on iTunes downloads.
