Keen Oshawa II boot

Keen Utility has introduced the Oshawa II, updated with a carbon fibre safety toe for long days on the job when safety matters.

Delivering the same out-of-the box walking comfort found in a lineage of hiking boots, the Oshawa II features a waterproof leather upper, Cleansport NXT lining for natural odour protection, a Keen.Dry waterproof, breathable membrane and a dual density compression-moulded EVA midsole.

Innovations like the Keen.Key-Tech Flex adds a TPU torsional stability shank to increase support from the heel to forefoot, reducing the experience of fatigue over uneven surfaces. With its contoured heel-lock system and the Keen.Key-Tech Flex, this design also increases the boot’s flexibility, making it more comfortable for work that requires kneeling down.

Available in men’s and women’s versions and as mid- and low-cut options, the Oshawa II is the all-around work boot that takes whatever gets thrown at it. On all models, a CSA-certified non-metallic puncture-resistant midsole plate and left and right asymmetrical carbon-fibre toes deliver on a commitment to a comfortable fit with a safety specification. The carbon-fibre safety toes found in these boots weigh in at 2.75 ounces, are slightly lighter than composite and 15 per cent lighter than steel, KEEN says.

Built to stand up to the toughest jobs, the Oshawa II work boots meet the ASTM F1677-96 Mark II non-slip testing standards and CSA Z195-09 Grade 1 standards for protection.
