Cut protection training
Electrolab Training Systems has announced the release of a new program by CLMI that deals specifically with cut protection. Employers need to make sure workers’ hands, arms and other body parts are protected from cuts with the right gear. From a simple scratch to a major laceration requiring surgery, getting cut on the job can happen for many different reasons and the results of those injuries can be life changing. By recognizing hazards, working smart and wearing the right personal protective equipment, employees can work injury-free. This program covers how to protect employees from cuts, including the types of gloves and other protective gear that are available, such as sleeves, which gloves and sleeves to choose for the work your employees do, how to select the right glove size and how to take care of this equipment. This program will help companies ensure workers have cut protection gear that will keep them safe and injury-free. Available in DVD and streaming media formats.
