Electrolab Training Systems is offering a new training program called Cold Stress: Working Safely in Cold Weather. The program helps employees understand and recognize why it’s important to keep an eye out for the effects of cold stress. Cold and wet weather working conditions can threaten a worker’s ability to do his job safely, as cold can have negative effects on the body. Topics covered include hypothermia symptoms and prevention, frostbite symptoms and treatment and trench foot treatment. This program is available in DVD and streaming media formats.
