Extech Instruments’ HD600 Data Logging Sound Level Meter can provide high accuracy data logging of up to 20,000 records, and measures from 30 to 130dB range with 1.4dB accuracy, the company says. HD600 captures up to 10 readings per second when connected to a PC, and records readings with real date and time stamp. Its other features include min/max and data hold functions, heavy-duty rugged double-molded housing, USB port with software, and automatic power off with disable capability. The HD600 package includes Windows compatible software, USB cable, wind cover, tripod, hard carrying case, AC adaptor and 9V battery. Extech says the HD600 meets new IEC 61672-1 Class 2 accuracy standard for OSHA and other local and national noise ordinances. www.extech.com
