The new ProRAE Guardian software from RAE Systems is being called the virtual command centre, for its real time monitoring capability of all wireless gas detection systems. The new software was first demonstrated at The Fire Department Instructors Conference in Indianapolis. The new ProRAE Guardian can monitor over 400 sensors and will display and share data of up to 500 toxic chemical, flammable gas, radiations, chemical warfare agent or air born particle sensors in real-time, the company said. The software is ideal for safety managers and incident commanders who need instant access to information on their RAE system sensors, RAE handheld products and other compatible third-party products, the company said. With the ProRAE Guardian can enable data sharing among users at different locations and surveil areas while offsite. ProRAE Guardian is expected to be available in the fall of this year.
