Intella Liftparts is introducing its new Blue Safety Light. The light helps minimize forklift/pedestrian accidents. According to the United States Centers for Disease COntrol and Prevention, there are nearly 19,000 forklift/pedestrian accidents each year in the U.S. alone. The Blue Safety Light projects a clear blue spot on the ground behind the forklift. Pedestrians listening to iPods, texting on smart phones or chatting on phones often ignore or miss traditional backup alarms and strobe lights.
