Redesigned for ergonomics
Southworth Products Corp. has redesigned its PalletPal Level Loader to make it more ergonomic. The PalletPal virtually eliminates the productivity-robbing and injury-producing bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching common to pallet-loading applications. A new, smaller base makes loading and unloading pallets faster, safer and easier, the company said. Heavy-duty springs automatically lower or raise a pallet as weight is added or removed. Fork pockets at the base allow for easy relocation. The unit requires no power and is virtually maintenance-free, the company said. The PalletPal can accommodate loads from 400 to 4,500 lbs. If needs change, the unit can be adapted easily in the field by changing its spring combination.
