Wireless gamma detector
RAE Systems has added the MeshGuard Gamma detector to its MeshGuard Wireless Gas Detection System. This new product delivers real-time continuous monitoring of gamma radiation threats in a cost-effective, rapidly deployable solution for 24-7 monitoring of large industrial facilities and remote sites. MeshGuard Gamma is available with field-replaceable pre-calibrated sensors specifically designed to sense X-ray and gamma radiation. It is also directly compatible with RAE Systems MeshGuard wireless gas sensors for a fully integrated hazardous gas and radiation monitoring system. When coupled with ProRAE Guardian command centre software, it provides a powerful real-time radiation and gas monitoring solution, according to the manufacturer. The MeshGuard System uses a self-forming and self-healing network that allows it to balance network traffic by automatically routing data to the controller through the best wireless path available. The battery-powered units have a rugged weather-resistant housing. The MeshGuard System is designed for fast deployment in areas where low cost and high ROI solutions are required. www.raesystems.com.
