DuPont Sustainable Solutions has released a new training program dealing with the hazards of sulfuric acid.
Sulfuric acid is multi-faceted and used more than any other mineral acid. It is used to make products that enhance the quality of our lives, including paint, petroleum, pharmaceuticals, textiles and even paper.
The program, "Sulfuric Acid: Safe Handling," will show employees how to work safely around sulfuric acid. It covers the properties and hazards, the importance of wearing the right personal protective equipment, ways to prevent incidents, steps to take if there is an emergency, and procedures for handling, storing and unloading sulfuric acid.
This program is available in both DVD and streaming media formats. Additional information or free preview is available by calling Electrolab Training Systems at 1-800-267-7482 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information, visit www.training.dupont.com or www.electrolab.ca.
