WorkSafeBC has launched a new online tool that will provide new and young workers with all the resources they need to stay safe and healthy at work.

The new Apprenticeship Portal is a leading edge web-based health and safety resource for apprentices and those working in the trades. WorkSafeBC hopes the site will help promote workplace safety among more than 2,000 youth apprentices in B.C.
WHISTLER, B.C. — The level of literacy of your workers could make a big difference in the safety of your workers, a speaker at the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering’s annual Professional Development Conference said.
Attendees to this year's CSSE Professional Development Conference got a dose of the new reality at the opening session, with renowned leadership coach Ian Percy calling for a new way of collaborating for safety and achieving greater success for organizations.

Workers, employers and health and safety committees have a new information resource for preventing musculoskeletal disorders with the announcement from the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety about a new manual designed to help workplaces identify, control and eliminate MSD hazards.
