Trendy safety glasses
Designed to look less like safety eyewear and more like popular, everyday glasses, the Metro safety eyewear from Gateway Safety is aimed at helping employers increase PPE compliance on the job. With its contemporary style, workers may even find themselves wearing Metro at home while mowing the lawn or fishing with friends, the company said. Metro offers a choice of four attractive frame colours that allow both men and women to express their personal style. Frames in glossy black or soft caramel provide a more traditional look, while frames in vibrant pink or tortoiseshell go a little more “uptown.” All frames have a unique, polished appearance and come with a variety of lens options, including anti-fog and reflective mirror options. Weighing well under an ounce, with a soft nosepiece and contoured temple tips, Metro is also ultra comfortable for all-day wear. The durable, wraparound polycarbonate lens meets ANSI Z87.1+ and blocks more than 99.9 per cent of damaging UVA, B, and C rays, the company said.
