Hazard area signals
R. STAHL's Yodalex series includes a wide range of signaling devices for hazardous areas, including the Y06 omni-directional horn, the V6 beacon and the YL6 combination unit. Each unit features an IP66 aluminum housing with machined flame paths. The YO6 horn has a maximum sound output of 110 dB at one meter, with a sound selection consisting of 32 internationally recognized tones that can easily be set via a five-way DIL switch. The beacon provides a 5 Joule high-intensity flash at a rate of 1 Hz, and is available in seven different lens colours. The dome is manufactured from a flame-retardant polycarbonate material, which is further protected by a steel guard. The YL6 combination unit offers a unique design with fully integrated sounds and strobe built into a single enclosure. The lightweight, cost-effective device provides omni-directional sound and light and requires minimal installation time. Each unit is ATEX and IECEx-approved for use in zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 for gas and dust atmospheres. All Yodalex products comply with European as well as North American standards, including Canadian CUL, the company said.
