Aquarion self-contained eyewash
Encon has introduced Aquarion Self-Contained Eyewash with a heated option. It is ideal in locations where freezing temperatures are encountered and plumbed drinkable water is not readily available. Freeze protection is accomplished using an insulating blanket and a 120 or 240VAC internal heater that is thermostatically controlled to 30 C. The heater is Class 1, Division 2, Group B, C, D rated and CSA approved. The PVC-lined and Thinsulate-filled insulating jacket offers excellent thermal and moisture protection yet provides easy access to cartridges, hoses and eyewash nozzles for verification of ready-to-use status, says the manufacturer. Installation by a single person is simple and easy, and is designed for use on any wall, tight hallway, column or cart. The Aquarion’s flexible fluid cartridge completely self-evacuates without applied external forces, providing reliable performance when you need it most. Fluid cartridges are available pre-filled and sealed with a two-year shelf life.
