Six times a year, the editor of Canadian Occupational Safety
magazine conducts a brief survey on a timely health and safety topic.
These surveys are your opportunity, as a COS reader and subscriber, to
share the challenges and concerns you face in your profession, and to
voice your opinion (anonymously, of course!). We publish the results of
each survey as a "Reader Panel Report" on our Web site and in the next
issue of COS magazine. Reader Panel topic: Safety and the Criminal Code On March 17, 2008, Quebec-based Transpave Inc. became the
first Canadian company to be convicted and sentenced for criminal negligence
resulting from a workplace death. It’s a hot topic within the safety community, and we want to know your thoughts on the conviction and your views on criminal liability.
