Dräegar Safety has introduced the X-am 2000 personal gas monitor for testing one to four gases and vapours including oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide and a combustible gas. There are three different warnings built into the X-am including an audible multi-tone alarm, a visual 180 degree alarm and a built-in vibrating alarm. It is designed with gas inlets in two surfaces, allowing measurements even if worn improperly.

 Industrial Scientific Corp. has added a hydrogen cyanide (HCN) sensor option to its GasBadge Pro single gas monitor for use as personal monitors by safety professionals, plant managers and first responders in precious mining and recovery, gold plating, food and beverage and hazardous materials (HazMat) industries. The GasBadge Pro can be adapted with interchangeable "smart" sensors to monitor unsafe levels of oxygen or any one of the following toxic gases: ammonia, carbon monoxide, chlorine, chlorine dioxide, hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen dioxide, phosphine and sulfur dioxide.
