The new APS Dock Impact Barrier is built to stop a 10,000-pound load moving at four miles per hour. Featuring heavy construction, the APS dock barrier bar is constructed of nine-sixteenths inch-thick steel cable inside a flexible fiberglass rail, which latches securely into place. Highly visible yellow nylon webbing is designed to provide an additional visual barrier at the dock for distracted, hurried drivers. The unit is easy to install, operate and maintain. The new APS Dock Impact Barrier is manually operated, easily performed by a single dock attendant using just one hand in only seconds. When dock use is required, releasing the foot-operated latch and lifting the gate into an upright position opens the APS Dock Impact Barrier.
