Wide range infrared thermometer

Extech Instruments’ 42515–T Wide-Range InfraRed Thermometer with Type K input and added Bonus TP200 pipe clamp allows for instant, accurate readings, with up to 20 readings in storage capacity and can measure both non-contact and contact temperature, according to Extech Instruments. The Wide-Range IR Thermometer is ideal for HVAC/R applications, the company claims. It delivers a wide temperature range for InfraRed measurements from -58 to 1472°F (-50 to 800°C) as well as the Type K thermocouple measurements from -58 to 2498°F (-50 to 1370°C). The Wide-Range IR Thermometer is ideal for measuring the surface temperature of objects that are difficult to reach or unsafe to touch, the company says. Other features include a laser pointer for better aim and accuracy, auto-hold that activates when the measurement trigger is released, and switches built into the handle that allow for easy °C/°F display selection, auto power off and alarm on/off control.

Lockouts get ready access

Brady Corporation’s recently introduced Ready Access Storage Stations come in two styles: the Ready Access Padlock Station, designed to hold padlocks, group lockout hasps and tags, and the Ready Access Lockout Station, which offers flexible storage for a variety of lockout devices, the company says. Ready Access Padlock Station comes in either a five-padlock or ten-padlock capacity, while the Ready Access Lockout Station is available in different configurations for electrical, mechanical or combined applications. Both made from rugged injection-molded polypropylene, the Ready Access Storage Stations include an attachable handle for portability, screw slots for wall mounting and a semi-transparent cover that protects the lockout devices while allowing the station’s content to be viewed easily, the company says.

Blocks Impacts
The new APS Dock Impact Barrier is built to stop a 10,000-pound load moving at four miles per hour. Featuring heavy construction, the APS dock barrier bar is constructed of nine-sixteenths inch-thick steel cable inside a flexible fiberglass rail, which latches securely into place. Highly visible yellow nylon webbing is designed to provide an additional visual barrier at the dock for distracted, hurried drivers. The unit is easy to install, operate and maintain. The new APS Dock Impact Barrier is manually operated, easily performed by a single dock attendant using just one hand in only seconds. When dock use is required, releasing the foot-operated latch and lifting the gate into an upright position opens the APS Dock Impact Barrier.

Industrial lubricant is worker-safe
P-80 Emulsion IFC and P-80 THIX IFC are both applied by manual or automatic methods, including brush, bath, spray, sponge, squirt, or pump techniques. Like all P-80 products, P-80 Emulsion IFC and P-80 THIX IFC are non-hazardous and offer ergonomic benefits to workers. By reducing the force needed to install parts, they help decrease musculoskeletal injuries to workers. They are compatible with most metals, plastics, and elastomers. Both IFC products have low volatile organic compounds, are non-toxic, non-flammable, do not contain any carcinogenic or mutagenic ingredients, and have a near-neutral pH.
