Editorial Excellence

Let’s talk safety!

The publisher and editorial staff of Canadian Occupational Safety (COS) magazine know that occupational health and safety practitioners are a group of people dedicated to protecting the physical and mental well-being of their coworkers, regardless of the field or industry they work in.

That’s why COS endeavours to be a source of information they can trust by providing content that is informative, accurate and entertaining, covering all the areas of interest to Canada’s occupational health and safety professionals. We go to the experienced and knowledgeable sources our readers trust for the information they need. We also try and surprise our readers with information and unique stories they might not otherwise have thought about.

COS also has an experienced group of columnists who cover a wide range of topics of interest who offer their expertise in important areas as labour. Our readers can also have their say in our letters to the editor section.

Readers can also have their input on issues of concern to workplace health and safety in our online readers’ survey. It tackles everything from pay rates for health and safety people in the workplace to youth workers and anything else of concern. We also welcome suggestions for topics of future surveys. The results of the survey appear in the following issue of COS.
