Cézanne is an associate in McKenzie Lake Lawyer’s  LLP Employment and Labour Group, specializing in WSIB appeals for employers and occupational health and safety. She acts for employers charged with contraventions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and represents employers in all areas of WSIB claims management, and appeals under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. Cézanne’s work in management side WSIB law regularly saves individual companies hundreds of thousands of dollars in compensation costs while helping them to manage their risks in employment law matters and reduce their liabilities in occupational health and safety.

In her previous capacity as Probation and Parole Officer for the Province of Ontario, Cézanne worked with violent offenders, drug and alcohol addiction, mental illness, domestic violence and conducting risk assessments on a daily basis. She brings her passion for prevention, assessing risks and her first hand experiences directly into her lively and engaging occupational safety courses.

Cézanne is currently developing a new course for employers about the Internal Responsibility System, and how this pivotal concept should be thoroughly integrated into virtually every aspect of the organization. This course will be 4.0 hours in length.
