WHAT, WHY, WHERE, WHEN and WHO
| WHAT: |
Two new training seminars in fall protection. The first is for supervisors (regardless of the industry) to give them the Competent Person certificate. The second is for people working in the transportation industries of all types (details below).
|
| WHY: |
Because falls are caused by the gravitational forces and gravity is with us 24/7. There is just no way that we can remove this hazard. It means that falls will continue. It means that fatalities must and can be eliminated while the severity of injuries must and can be minimized.
|
| WHERE: |
At the Four Points by Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel.
|
| WHEN: |
Fall Protection for Supervisors: (1 1/2 days) – December 13-14, 2011
Fall Protection – Transport: (2 days) – November 29-30, 2011
|
| WHO: |
The seminar's primary speaker, Andrew C. Sulowski, has been working continuously in fall protection for the past 34 years and is an internationally recognized expert in this field. His CV is available for your review on our website at www.fallpro.com.

THE DETAILS of Both Seminars
Fall Protection for Supervisors
Low Cost. Safety - Compliance. Low Liability.
This seminar will assist supervisors in all industries in attaining the required designation of a Competent Person. We have reduced it to a day and a half because most supervisors can hardly spare even this amount of time. The objective of the seminar is not to convert supervisors into fall protection experts, but rather to equip them with only the essential knowledge of various fall protection issues required of those in their position.
Earlier in his career, Andrew Sulowski held a supervisory role as part of a plant maintenance and engineering design group. He understands exactly what a supervisor should and should not know when it comes to fall protection.

All participants will receive the seminar manual and Andrew's book titled "Fall Arrest Systems - Practical Essentials".
Fall Protection – Transport
Buses; Trucks; Rail/Street/Subway Cars; Aircraft
This seminar has been designed specifically for supervisors, managers, engineers, safety officers, technicians, foremen, members of JHSCs and all others responsible for safety of maintenance personnel in garages, car houses, hangars, regular as well as field airports, rail car loading facilities, and shops. Also for drivers of trucks (tarps), tanker trucks (contents and level checks), operators of heavy off-road vehicles and loaders (open-pit mines).
Several alternative fall protection methods and related fall protection equipment will be discussed. Falls can't be eliminated as the gravity is with us to stay, however their consequences can and must be minimized.

If all falls do end, as it is the case - why some of us who fell, will never be OK?
