Re: Er-go-gonomics (Letter to the Editor) November/December 2008
Regarding my letter to the editor (Er-go-gonomics, COS November-December issue) about the frustrations of searching for a short person’s chair in a tall world, I am pleased to report that I received an e-mail from Terry Cassaday, President of ErgoCentric. He said he was certain he could help and invited me to visit his retail store in Mississauga.
I am now the proud owner of an AirCentric chair that fits my frame, is fully adjustable, has lumbar support and waterfall seating and even comes in an attractive red to match my home office. The chair also had a flexible back that could gently rock with my body motion, but when I said I preferred to have it locked firmly in place, the store manager (Terry’s son, Emerson) simply changed the mechanism for me in a matter of minutes.
Finally, a perfectly comfortable chair! I no longer need go-go boots to reach the floor. Many thanks to the ergonomic experts at ErgoCentric and to COS for printing my letter.
